JACKIE HAYDEN
‘Singer Aileen Mythen seems like she was born to live on-stage, and she has a way of not merely singing a song but living in it and probably re-arranging the furniture too.’

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
As a singer and musician, I studied voice at the Wexford School of Music. I grew up playing piano (Grade 8), tin whistle, and clarinet (Grade 6) and completed Grade 6 in singing with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Grade 8 in speech and drama with the London College of Music. I studied music and classical singing at the University of Limerick and graduated with an Honours Bachelors Degree. I went on to train as a professional actress and received a diploma in acting and performance at the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin.
Since then I have sung numerous styles and genres including Blues, Pop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Folk, Americana and Adult Contemporary. I have performed on stages and festivals including National Opera House, Wexford, National Concert Hall, Olympia, Gaiety, Electric Picnic, Longitude, Trad Fest, Dublin, Westport Music Festival, Doolin Folk Festival to name a few. I have toured France, Germany, London and the UK with my original band The Remedy Club and am currently writing a new album and collaborating with Wexford songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ian Doyle (The Man Whom).
